Shortly after receiving my degree in Process Technology and working in the field for a few years I realized that I had focused on the wrong things. Money was the driving factor for choosing my career and it is one of the mistakes I'm most grateful for. After reflecting on what I could do to change my career I reminisced to a time where I was truly happy at a job. That's when sales came to mind, I remember how I enjoyed interacting with people, studying their body language, and the science of communicating. I worked at home depot for 6+ years on the sales floor in both flooring and garden, and what I enjoyed most was the feeling of accomplishment whenever I would complete a sale and give the customer great service. This is more than a career to me, it's my thing, that's a language only a few understand. I always told those who questioned my transition between careers that I just want a career that would make me excited to wake up on a Monday morning. I'm so excited I started a career in Real Estate because it has given me the freedom to make my own choices and the opportunity to be happy.
